The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southwest District.
On Jan. 20, at approximately 8:26 a.m., investigators responded to the 2800 block of W. Baltimore Street, near Gwynns Falls Trail, following a report of a body in the water.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene and recovered a deceased adult man exhibiting signs of trauma on his body.
Homicide detectives are currently questioning a person of interest.
