The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced updates in two homicides that occurred earlier this December.
Dwaun Hawkins, 43, was killed on Dec. 18, on the 2400 block of Elsinore Avenue. Officers responded to the Garwyn Oaks home, where they located Hawkins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital.
Charles Brothers, 32, was killed on Dec. 28, in a Federal Hill parking lot located near Cross Street Market. Officers located Brothers near the 1000 block of Light Street, unresponsive and suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body. Brothers was pronounced deceased on the scene, just hours into his birthday.
