The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a Central District homicide investigation.
On Dec. 26, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Central District officers responded to the 1400 block of E. Madison Street to investigate a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two men, aged 57 and 34, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to an area hospital, where the 34-year-old man was pronounced dead by hospital staff. The 57-year-old man is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
