The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southern District.
On Dec. 13, at approximately 2:58 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard following a report of gunfire in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located a 14-year-old boy suffering from a critical gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, and was later pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident.
