The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.
On Dec. 9, at approximately 7:42 p.m., Northwest District officers responded to the 3000 block of Ridgewood Avenue regarding a reported shooting.
Officers located an 18-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A person of interest was taken into custody on the scene.
