ShotSpotter Alerts Police to Man Shot in Leg on Greenmount Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.

On Oct. 13, at approximately 8:58 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Greenmount Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert.

Officers arrived on the scene, canvassed the area, and located the victim, a 34-year-old male. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg.

Eastern District detectives are actively investigating the incident.
