80-Year-Old Woman Dead Following Fatal Crash on Druid Hill Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a fatal crash investigation in the Western District.

On Sept. 29, at approximately 9:14 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 2600 block of Druid Hill Avenue for a reported traffic crash.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles that appeared damaged in the collision.

The operator of one of the vehicles, a 80-year-old female, was extricated from her vehicle and medics began to render aid to the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where she was pronounced deceased. Officers were advised that the victim was operating an ATV when he was struck by a transit van.

The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) was notified and responded to the scene.
