The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Eastern District.
On Sept. 25, at approximately 9:42 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of N. Patterson Park Avenue for a well-being check.
Once there, officers located the body of Mekonen Habteselassie, 71.
Habteselassie’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine a cause of death.
