Man Shot Multiple Times on Ashburton Street, Pronounced Dead at Hospital

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Western District.

On Sept. 10, at approximately 8:46 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 1100 block of Ashburton Street following a ShotSpotter alert.

Officers canvassed the area and located a 24-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
