The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.
On Sept. 19, at approximately 6:22 p.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Eldorado Avenue for a reported discharging of a firearm.
Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Northwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
Update: On Oct. 7, BPD announced this incident was reclassified to an aggravated assault by another weapon. Further investigation revealed that the victim was not shot.
