The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a fatal crash investigation in the Western District.
On Sept. 13, at approximately 5:25 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of W. Lafayette Avenue for a reported crash.
Upon arrival, officers observed the victim being treated by Baltimore City Fire Department medics. Despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers were advised that the victim was operating an ATV when he was struck by a transit van.
The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) was notified and responded to the scene.
