The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Western District.
On Aug. 22, at approximately 9:34 p.m., Western District Officers responded to the 700 block of Druid Park Lake Drive for a reported shooting.
Officers arrived on the scene and located a 26-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately rendered aid to the victim.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
Update: On Aug. 25, the victim was identified as Davonne Hare, 26.
