Teen Shot Multiple Times in West Baltimore, in Stable Condition

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On Aug. 13, at approximately 5:27 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Whatcoat Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
