Victim Identified in Central Park Heights Mass Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update regarding the mass shooting that occurred Aug. 9, 2025 in Central Park Heights.

Jerome Michael Coateson, 38, was critically injured in the shooting, which occurred in the 2900 block of Spaulding Avenue. Coateson was pronounced deceased the following morning.
