The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northern District.

On July 24 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 3300 block of West Garrison Avenue for a report of a shooting victim.

Officers located a 38-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 5000 block of Beaufort Avenue, where a crime scene was located.
