Man Critically Wounded in Sandtown-Winchester Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On July 16, at approximately 8:01 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of N. Carey Street for report of a firearm discharge.

Upon arrival, officers located a 32-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation.
