Man Found Dead During Wellness Check in Herring Run Park

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a homicide in the Eastern District.

On July 12, at approximately 1 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to a home in the 2800 block of Chesterfield Avenue to conduct a wellness check.

Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 60-year-old male. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased.

The victim’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. On July 13, his death was ruled a homicide caused by trauma to the body.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the case.
