The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southwest District.
On July 3, at approximately 4:34 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to the 2200 block of Ashton Street following a call for service regarding a blood trail coming from inside a home.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head inside the home. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
