The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Central District.
On July 3, at approximately 2:48 a.m., a Central District patrol officer responded to the 1500 block of Thames Street after hearing gunfire.
Officers located a 21-year-old male, unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers performed CPR on the victim until medics arrived and transported him to an area hospital, where he later died.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
