The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a homicide in the Eastern District.
On June 17, at approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of E. Lafayette Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
