Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland presided over reception court proceedings for Tavon Jones, Allen Brown, and Tyree Green on June 16.
Jones, 24, is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder and assault, firearm use in a violent crime, and multiple firearm violations for an incident on June 28, 2023, on the 5300 block of Valiquet Avenue.
Green, 24, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person and destroying property valued less than $1,000.
Brown, 33, is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm use in a violent crime, and related firearm violations.
Brown rejected a plea offer of 15 years, suspending all but eight, with three years supervised probation and four years on the gun offenders registry list. His trial is set for Sept. 16 before Judge Levi S. Zaslow.
The prosecutor in Green’s case noted she was waiting to receive photographic evidence before trial. Judge Copeland set Green’s trial for Aug. 19 before Judge Piper F. McKeithen.
No charging documents were made available for Green or Brown in the court’s electronic filing system.
Jones was granted a week’s postponement to reach out to witnesses per the prosecution’s request. He is set to reappear before Judge Copeland on June 25 to receive a trial date.
