Franklin Square Shooting Victim Dies at Hospital

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southwest District.

On June 13, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital regarding a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving measures, the victim was later pronounced deceased.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while on the 1500 block of W. Fayette Street, where they located a crime scene.
