The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southern District.
On June 8, at approximately 9:16 p.m., Southern District officers were called to the 3400 block of Round Road for a reported shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers entered a residence and located a 47-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
