The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southern District.
On May 10, at approximately 6:47 a.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of 2nd Street to investigate the discharging of a firearm.
Upon arrival, they located a 37-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on the scene.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
