The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a fatal pedestrian-involved accident in the Central District.

On April 22, at approximately 6:57 p.m., Central District officers responded to the 1000 block of Fleet Street for the incident.

Upon arrival, officers located a 63-year-old male pedestrian suffering from a leg injury.

Witnesses on scene informed officers that the male victim stumbled and fell into the street as a Charm City Circulator shuttle drove by, striking the victim.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) was notified and responded to the scene.
