The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a victim in a shooting in the Northwest District.
On March 19, at approximately 5:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located Derrick Lamb, 49, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Lamb was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff.
Simultaneously, officers received a call from an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to the body that was sustained in the 5400 Park Heights Avenue. The victim is listed in stable condition.
