Jury Acquits Defendant of Murder, Convicts on Armed Robbery

A jury found 33-year-old Jermaine Sanders guilty of conspiracy to commit armed robbery on Jan. 22. 

The jury acquitted Sanders of eight other charges, including first-degree murder, armed robbery, firearm use, first-degree assault, having a loaded handgun on his person and vehicle, and possession of a firearm. 

On Jan. 22, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lawrence R. Daniels scheduled Sanders’ sentencing for Feb. 19 at 9 a.m. Sanders has yet to receive a retrial date.
