Father and Son Charged with Attempted Murder in Connection with October Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with a shooting in the Eastern District on Oct. 13, 2024.

Investigators have arrested 22-year-old Travis Braxton and his father, 44-year-old Larry Braxton, both from Baltimore.

Detectives learned that both Larry and Travis Braxton were involved in the shooting of a 28-year-old female in the 4300 block of Sheldon Avenue following a dispute.

Arrest warrants for both were obtained on Oct. 14 and Oct. 15, 2024.

On Oct. 28, 2024, detectives arrested Travis and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

On Jan. 7, Eastern District officers arrested Larry and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Both suspects are being held without bail.
