Central District Shooting Victim in Critical Condition

On Sept. 26, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. 

Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 20-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was on the 600 block of West Franklin Street when he was shot. 

Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2411.
