The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a fatal vehicle crash in the Northwest District.
On Nov. 28, at approximately 5:56 p.m., Northwest District officers were called to the 5200 block of Park Heights Avenue regarding a motor vehicle crash.
Officers arrived on the scene and located a 77-year-old male pedestrian who appeared to have been struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
BPD Crash Team investigators were summoned to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
The striking vehicle remained on the scene.
