63-Year-Old Woman Shot in North Baltimore, Police Questioning Person of Interest

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northern District.

On Jan. 24, at approximately 3:22 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of 29th Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 63-year-old woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to her upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Detectives are currently questioning a person of interest related to this incident.

Northern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
