63-Year-Old Man Injured Overnight in Central Baltimore Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Central District.

On Aug. 24, at approximately 2:20 a.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Officers located a 63-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 800 block of N. Caroline Street, where calls of gunfire were made at 1:51 a.m.
