The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the morning of March 1.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1800 block of W. Lombard Street around 11:42 a.m. for reports of an unresponsive baby, where they found 6 month old Legacy Bell unresponsive.
Medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy, where doctors ruled the death a homicide caused by blunt force trauma.
