59-Year-Old Man Found Shot Dead in Northwest Baltimore Home

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation.

On Jan. 11, at approximately 5:10 a.m., officers responded to a residence on the 3900 block of Penhurst Avenue for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 59-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds and rendered aid until medics arrived on scene. The victim was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation. Investigators have yet to identify a suspect or determine a motive.
