A 59-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection to a non-fatal shooting on Nov. 5.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, detectives arrested Baltimore resident Tyrone Epps around 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 10 for shooting a 25-year-old man after an argument five days earlier.
Police previously reported that they were called to the 1600 block of Carswell Street at Kennedy Avenue around mid-day last week and found the victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
In addition to attempted first-degree murder, Epps is also charged with first and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a handgun on his person, and illegal possession of a firearm.
The Maryland Judiciary website states Epps is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 7 at Baltimore City District Court.
