57-Year-Old Man Shot on Kirk Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the early morning on Jan. 25. 

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2700 block of Kirk Avenue at approximately 3:04 a.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 57-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the face. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he is expected to survive. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim pulled up to a gas station, when he was approached by an unidentified black man armed with a gun. The suspect ordered the victim out of his vehicle, but when the victim refused to exit the vehicle, the suspect shot him in the face.
