The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning of Aug. 12.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 600 block of S. Smallwood Street around 4:44 a.m. for reports of a shooting, where a 54-year-old man was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where his condition is unknown.
Due to the victim’s injuries Homicide Detectives have been notified.
