The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the late evening of Oct. 10.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2600 block of E. Chase Street at 11:42 p.m. for reports of a shot spotter alert, where they found 54-year-old Tommy Mason suffering from gunshots.
The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Homicide detectives were summoned and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone that has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at (410)396-2100.
