51-Year-Old Man Shot on Frederick Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of June 15. 

According to a news release, patrol officers walking on foot came upon a shooting in the 4100 block of Frederick Avenue around 8:27 p.m., where a 51-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot wounds. 

Officers rendered aid, applied tourniquets and called the medics.  

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southwest District Shooting detectives were summoned to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2488.
