The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening on March 3.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1300 block of N. Mount Street at approximately 9:03 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where they found a 49-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot to the chest.
The medics took the victim to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased shortly after.
