The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to an attempted murder case that occurred last month in the Northwest District.
On Feb. 1, at approximately 4:40 p.m., patrol officers responded to Saint Agnes Hospital for a report of a walk-in cutting victim.
Upon arrival, officers located a 51-year-old man suffering from a puncture wound to his upper body.
Detectives learned that the victim was assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon on the 3900 block of Dolfield Avenue, following a dispute with another man.
Northwest District detectives identified the suspect as 45-year-old Floyd Best Jr. of Baltimore.
On March 11, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Best on the 6500 block of Frankford Avenue. Best was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
