The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the evening on Jan. 9.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2800 block of Ulman Avenue at approximately 5:12 p.m on Sunday for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 44-year-old Eric Rufus suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics took the victim to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:43 p.m.
