The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide on the evening of Oct. 18.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1500 block of Washington Boulevard at 5:02 p.m. for a shooting, where 40-year-old Elaine Jackson was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Shock Trauma, where she was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating.
