The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the late evening on April 5.
According to a news release, patrol officers were caloled to the 700 block of Linnard Street at approximately 11:37 p.m. for a report of a shooting, where they found a 40-year-old woman unresponsive suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where she later died.
