The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the early morning hours on May 24.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to an area hospital around 1:39 a.m. for reports of a walk-in shooting victim, where they found a 38-year-old man suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim stated that he was in the area of Wilkens at Monroe Street when he heard gunfire. The victim then traveled to the 400 block of South Bentalou Street when he realized he was shot, said police.
