36-Year-Old Man Shot in Franklin Square, Person of Interest Arrested

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southwest District.

On June 20, at approximately 5:19 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 300 block of N. Gilmor Street.

At the scene, officers observed a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where his injures are believed to be non-life-threatening.

While investigating, officers were able to take a person of interest into custody for questioning.
