36-Year-Old Man Arrested for First-Degree Murder

A 36-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 37-year-old man of Aug. 10. 

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Joseph Lee Jones, 36, three weeks after the incident on the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue, where Eric Christian White, 37, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. 

Investigators learned that Jones shot Eric White while on the 1300 block of North Carey Street, after an argument. Eric White later died at an area hospital from his injuries.

Following his arrest, on Aug. 26 Joseph Lee Jones was taken to Central Booking Intake facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
