The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the morning on May 3.
According to a news release, detectives were conducting an investigation in the area of West Baltimore Street at North Fremont Avenue around 11:40 a.m. when they heard several gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, detectives found a 35-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound on the 700 block of West Baltimore Street.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where his condition is unknown.
