The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the afternoon on June 1.
According to a news release, officers were conducting a warrant initiative around 1:20 p.m. when they heard gunfire on the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue, where they found 34-year-old Bernard Tillman suffering from an apparent gunshot to the body.
Once the medics arrived, they pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
