30-Year-Old Arrested for the Murder of Courtney Campbell

A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 34-year-old man on March 24. 

The Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of Marcus Harris, 30, after the incident of a man being shot around 11:37 a.m. on the 3800 block of W. Belvedere Avenue, where they found 34-year-old Courtney Campbell suffering from a gunshot to the chest. 

The medics took the victim to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. 

Officers on the scene were immediately able to identify and locate the shooter.

Following his arrest, Harris was transported to the Homicide Section, where he was mirandized and questioned. Ultimately, Harris was transported to Central Booking, where he has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and held without bail.
